New Ad Banner Feature
Today we installed a new advertisement banner feature. This allows forum administrators to run their own ad banners or Google adsense campaigns on
their forums.
Forum admins can add serveral ads that will rotate inline with the thread posts.
You can customize a range of settings that control how often the ads are displays and who may view them.
Placing the ad banners inline with the posts is far more effective than placing them at the head or foot of the page.
Forum admins: login to your control panel and give it a try (new control panel located at page bottom left).
New customers: signup today and start making money from your own
online forum!
Take a look at a demo forum with ads:

NOTE: This new feature allows forum owners to place ads on their forums. Mad Moose Hosting wil NEVER place ads on our member forums. We provide
ad-free hosting to all our subscribers.

Are in-line ads the only option?
I want to help promote a friends website by having some sort of ad-/link to his site on my main index page.
I was going to look at using the ad feature somehow. It doesn't look like that's going to work. Any other suggestions?

Inline ads are the only option for advertising. But if you wish to display links to other sites, consider creating a forum category just for posting
links. There is no conventional manner for adding links or ads to the index page.
